Three musicians:
Ole André Farstad – strenginstrument, percussion, vocals
Alejandro Huidobro Goya – strenginstrument, percussion, vocals
Luison Capote – percussion, vocals
South American rhythms, in, song and drum play. We meet spotted cows, dancing polar bears, Mermaids, Brunkrabber, donkey and Caribbean crocodiles.
Tres Músicos brings out the rich music traditions that are the result of the cultural exchange across the Atlantic throughout history. The repertoire offers thorough studies of some styles. Polka and Son Jarocho from Mexico, Afroperuansk celebration, They are Cuban Frå Puerto Rico, Candombe from Uruguay and Cumbia from Colombia are just some of what you hear from Tres Músicos. For the trio is music a basic social activity, and they love to get the audience to both play and sing – And of course dancing. This is a performance that the whole family will like.

Five years ago Valkyrien Allstars last played at the Bergen International Music Festival. Then it was pandemia, and major restrictions on how to conduct events, But it was a huge concert for the few who got it with them! It was also the last Valkyrien came out with albums, critically acclaimed “quit & Bynne ”.
Now Valkyrien is immediately out with a new album again. Number seven in the series. “Waiting for someone, waiting for someone” who is released on June 13 2025. The band has teamed up with the Swedish folk-labeled Supertraditional and serves listeners nine well-ridden songs about life and lifetime. 'Waiting for someone waiting for someone’ is the continuation of Valkyriens peculiar fusion of traditional- and pop music. A formula that has sent them so many times on the cross in Norway that it is strange there are still trees left in the woods. Erik has gotten even better on guitar, Martin has learned to play banjo, Magnus has glued the bass and Tuva has filled the pen.
Valkyrien Allstars is known as one of the country's best live bands, and has since its first release in 2007 gone ahead in the development of arranged folk music. The band has gone in new directions for each release, and is considered pioneers for the new folk music with its very special expression.
The band consists of Tuva Syvertsen, Magnus Larsen Jr., Erik Sollid and Martin Langlie. Together stock and arrange the songs that remain eternal love and mysteries that never resolved. Both on plate and live wakes energy, Heldiness and surprising turns.
There will be some seating at the event, but most stands. The tickets are the same, So here is the first person to the mill, If one wants seating at the concert.
The concert is presented in collaboration with the Folk Music Club Columbi Egg.

EMBLA & THE KARIDOTTERS + Wet Country // BIMF 2025

Debut to Embla and the karidotters, Hello, I’m Embla, won the Spellemann Prize in Country and took the band Norway around and over to the United States. How to follow up something like that? With more of course! The second album, Off Leash, is simply better, tougher and rougher. The star-studded band sounds crisp and the album continues their rough Honkytonk Noir soundscape, storytelling lyrics as well as playfulness both on album and on stage.
Embla and the karidotters is the band project for Razika drummer Embla Karidotter. After Razika was laid on ice, collected Embla's «Karidotters» from surrounding bands like Razika, The honey children, Sløtface, Slomosa and aiming for enrike. Now they are in the process of their third album as we get a taste of this evening.
Prior to the concert there will be a mini -course in line dance with Wet Country - So here's just tensioning the cowboy boots, and get ready for party!
