MIMMI is a forward-thinking singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Tromsø, resident in Oslo, and with roots from Senegal. She has a voice that fills the room and refuses to let you be indifferent. She seduces and enchants with an oasis of cellos, trombones and trumpets, harpsichord, drums and heavy beats ranging from the pompous to the minimalist and sore. MIMMI explores the big emotions with a strong focus on text communication in a genre she defines as Baroque-Pop.
“Money” is her first single from the upcoming album, and the song is about the fight against inner and outer demons – the struggle to break down the walls and show who you are.
