Through 25 Bergen International Cultural Center has been an important multicultural meeting place for the population of Bergen and the surrounding area.

The cultural center has been a hub for diversity, cultural exchange and inclusion. Here, both multicultural and Norwegian organizations meet for activities within a wide range of cultural expressions.

Bergen International Cultural Center was opened in May 1993 by Bergen Municipality, and run in collaboration with immigrant organizations in Bergen.

Since 2007 The cultural center has been a member-managed organization with operating support from Bergen Municipality.
